About Me
Matthew Frank Quirk is a New York based professional actor. He made his professional debut at the Westchester Broadway Theatre in Miracle on 34th Street at the age of 8. Matthew began acting, singing and dancing at a young age. Over the next several years he worked on his craft and performed in various community and regional theatre productions.
Matthew has worked in many Off-Broadway productions. Most notability at age 10, he was honored to be chosen in the Public Theatre's Before Your Very Eyes directed and produced by The God Squad. He was thrilled to become a member of AEA. Not only has Matthew performed on stage, he has performed on TV. He could be seen in the 70th Annual Tony Awards opening number on CBS, as well as an episode of Shattered on the ID Channel. Matthew was ecstatic to be directed by Spike Lee in Netflix's She's Gotta Have It.
Since 2015, Matthew has been a competitive dancer on a company dance team. He competes in Tap, but loves to take Jazz and Ballet. While not dancing competitively at first, he began dancing at 8 years old.
Growing up, Matthew was surrounded by music. In elementary school he played drums and piano but his love for the guitar took precedence. Matthew is an avid guitarist and singer songwriter. Matthew Quirk plays and collaborates with members of his band, Cabin Fever.
Special thanks to all of his mentors that have supported him along this journey so far.
